Role Overview
The position focuses on managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration, domain ownership, and account recovery workflows for Google and GCP accounts. The role requires comprehensive handling of account recovery cases, ensuring compliance with security and authentication policies, and mitigating fraud and unauthorized access risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Google Account and GCP Account Recovery cases end to end.
- Validate identities, authorizations, and domain ownership utilizing established frameworks.
- Execute account recovery workflows meticulously, adhering strictly to policy guidelines.
- Identify and prevent fraudulent activity, social engineering attacks, and unauthorized access effectively.
- Document recovery processes thoroughly to maintain audit readiness.
- Escalate complex or high-risk scenarios promptly and appropriately.
- Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients during critical security incidents.
- Maintain adherence to authentication standards, service level objectives, and security policies.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform administration and console.
- Proficient in understanding domain ownership and recovery procedures.
- Excellent judgment with the ability to make decisions under uncertain conditions.
- Experience in detecting and preventing fraud.
- Exceptional documentation capability and attention to detail.
- Calm and professional communication abilities, particularly in sensitive situations.
