Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages restaurant cashiering duties adhering to established policies.
• Assists with inventory management and monitors crockery and equipment to minimize breakages.
• Prepares restaurant and service areas following outlet standards and layouts.
• Provides waiter services and stays informed about menu details and service communications prior to shifts.
• Organizes tasks to accommodate varying guest numbers and events efficiently.
• Ensures maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, glassware, silverware, and replenishes linens and operating supplies as needed.
• Retrieves necessary items from storage areas and follows the prescribed service sequence as per the Standard Operating Manual.
• Sets tables according to restaurant policies and handles clearing and cleaning duties post-service.
• Maintains cleanliness by managing spills during and after service hours and facilitates dish transport to kitchen stewarding areas.
• Participates in departmental meetings and adheres to hotel procedures and audits to help meet targets.
• Recommends food and beverage options to guests, demonstrating thorough menu knowledge including preparation methods and pairings.
• Keeps workstations and service pantries clean and well-stocked for seamless operations.
• Maintains the overall cleanliness and upkeep of restaurant working areas and upholds high personal grooming standards at all times.
