About the role
In this position, you will be the welcoming face of the hotel and the first point of contact for arriving guests. The role combines guest reception, front office handling, and hands-on support for the service team across breakfast, restaurant, bar, and events. Your responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly, offer them a refreshing drink at the bar, and handle the check-in process.
- Support service operations on site, including breakfast service, restaurant, bar, and event areas.
- Share local recommendations and help visitors discover what is worth seeing around the hotel.
- Assist new guests in finding their way around the property and settling in comfortably.
- Create a pleasant atmosphere with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Keep a cool head and a polished manner even when the hotel is busy.
- Take care of office tasks such as replying to emails, checking invoices, managing the shift cash desk, and closing it properly.
- Say goodbye to guests in a warm and memorable way so they leave with a positive impression.
Your profile
- You bring experience from service-oriented work, ideally in a hotel, hospitality, or event environment.
- You have completed vocational training in hotel management or a similar hotel-related field and are confident at the reception.
- You are comfortable using MEWS as a practical front office tool.
- You are flexible, a team player, and naturally warm in your interactions.
- You work independently and present yourself with confidence.
- You take hygiene and cleanliness seriously and stay up to date with the relevant standards.
- You can communicate well in both German and English with guests and colleagues.
- You are attentive, communicative, and enjoy contributing actively to the team.
