Job description
About Good Moose
Good Moose is a boutique, independent growth marketing agency headquartered in New York. The agency supports brands across the growth spectrum, from early-stage startups to established market leaders, helping them launch, expand, and scale in a sustainable way.
The team brings hands-on experience across media platforms along with strong capabilities in creative, analytics, and retention. Its approach is grounded in data, using measurement, automation, segmentation, attribution, and incrementality to shape efficient strategies that drive profitable growth.
This is a remote-first opportunity within a growing media team focused mainly on conversions and revenue, while also contributing to broader full-funnel marketing strategies for different clients. The role offers exposure to the full brand lifecycle, from pre-launch through scale, and the chance to deepen expertise in media best practices.
The company is seeking a Growth Manager with 4 to 7 years of experience who is eager to contribute, collaborate, and grow with the team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee paid media initiatives end to end, including campaign setup, optimization, creative direction, reporting, and performance analysis, with the goal of improving outcomes for specific clients.
- Work directly in ad platforms when needed to assist with setup, budget pacing, monitoring, and optimization, while understanding how paid channels support full-funnel and omnichannel strategies.
- Use channel knowledge to support sales forecasting and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual planning discussions with clients.
- Act as the primary contact for client partners and manage day-to-day deliverables, both internally and externally, including presentations and deck creation.
- Partner with senior brand leaders and confidently handle media-related questions from executive, brand, and creative stakeholders.
- Coordinate the internal team to ensure deliverables and client goals are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with analytics, creative, ad operations, and partner management teams to define testing plans, review KPIs, and improve revenue performance.
- Use analytics tools to turn data into actionable insights and recommendations for clients.
- Own weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting.
- Bring strategic thinking to channel expansion, cross-channel value creation, and forecasting.
- Identify opportunities to improve websites or apps to increase conversions and reduce friction in the customer journey.
- Continuously generate and test ideas to improve cost per acquisition and revenue outcomes.
- Mentor junior teammates and support their development.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in digital media planning and buying, with a primary focus on paid search and paid social campaign setup and optimization in Google and/or Meta.
- Additional experience with channels such as CTV/OTT, display, influencer marketing, or audio is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of the marketing funnel from awareness through conversion.
- Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with internal brand teams.
- Comfort leading meetings and preparing presentations independently.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, develop insights, and recommend next steps.
- Ability to present findings in a clear, visually effective way tailored to client KPIs and preferences.
- Background in direct-response and conversion-focused marketing, along with familiarity with brand awareness and upper-funnel tactics.
- Clear understanding of best practices across both performance and brand-building approaches.
- Interest in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Bonus familiarity with Shopify, Looker, GA4, Rockerbox, Triple Whale, Northbeam, Measured, or similar tools.
