Role Overview
As a Performance Marketing Specialist within AEA’s hands-on, cooperative marketing team, you will leverage data-driven insights and optimization techniques to convert digital engagement into impactful results. This role demands active management and continual refinement rather than set-and-forget tactics, aligning marketing efforts with the broader goals of supporting hospitals, educational initiatives, and talent recruitment across a national emergency care network.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other approved channels with strong emphasis on efficiency and outcomes.
- Develop and implement ongoing testing for targeting strategies, messaging, creatives, and conversion funnels.
- Enhance campaign ROI and reduce costs across various key AEA objectives.
- Identify and explore new avenues for growth through experimental strategies.
- Manage SEO and local search performance across multiple sites, improving visibility using tools like Yoast, BrightLocal, and Google Business Profile insights.
- Increase discoverability of hospitals and services on local and national levels.
- Produce clear, actionable performance reports analyzing digital marketing activities and translate metrics into informed recommendations affecting budget allocation, strategy, and expansion.
- Maintain and refine digital tracking, tagging, and attribution frameworks to ensure data accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing paid digital marketing campaigns, particularly with Google Ads and Meta Ads platforms.
- Solid knowledge of SEO practices and local search optimization techniques.
- Experience using web analytics tools such as GA4 and reporting platforms like Looker Studio or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to data interpretation.
- Ability to convert performance insights into strategic marketing actions.
- Demonstrates a proactive attitude, curiosity, and a continuous testing mindset to optimize marketing effectiveness.
Certifications in Google Ads, GA4, and Meta Blueprint are highly advantageous.
