Job description
Role overview
This is a senior, high-leverage growth position for a candidate in Kenya, supporting a partner company that handles the application flow and subsequent hiring steps. The work centers on creating and expanding a participant acquisition system for a large marketplace of paid task contributors. The focus is not on vanity metrics, but on bringing in people who activate, complete paid tasks, and keep coming back.
The role is global in scope from the outset, with responsibility across multiple regions and the need to tailor growth approaches to local market realities. It suits someone who enjoys building repeatable systems, automations, and growth loops, and who prefers experimentation over static campaigns. The position has direct impact on supply growth and revenue efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and grow a participant acquisition engine that becomes stronger over time through organic loops, referral mechanisms, community distribution, partnerships, and market-specific outreach.
- Create automated growth processes using agentic tools such as LLMs, scraping workflows, API-driven systems, and no-code orchestration platforms like Zapier, Make, or n8n.
- Spot promising geographies using demand indicators and supply-side economics, then adjust the channel mix to fit each market.
- Take ownership of core growth measures, including cost per activated participant, task completion rates, repeat participation, and lifetime task value by region.
- Run fast weekly experiments, quickly dropping weak channels and scaling the growth loops that show traction.
Requirements
- Background growing a marketplace, gig platform, or two-sided product with clear results in activation and retention.
- Strong systems-oriented thinking and the ability to design scalable growth engines rather than one-off campaigns.
- Practical experience with automation and agentic tooling, including LLM-based workflows, scraping, APIs, and no-code or low-code orchestration.
- Exposure to emerging or varied international markets, with an understanding of how distribution changes from one geography to another.
- Hands-on execution skills, including writing copy, building scripts, creating dashboards, and iterating independently before broader rollout.
- Analytical ability to connect day-to-day actions with activation, retention, and revenue outcomes.
Benefits
- Competitive base pay with additional upside linked to the number of activated participants.
- Full control over a major growth function that has a direct effect on business revenue.
- Close interaction with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- A fully remote, global working setup with flexibility in how work is managed.
- Chance to design and scale global growth systems from the ground up.
