Job description

About Kinia

Kinia is a charity, social enterprise, and education-focused non-profit working to widen equality and opportunity for children and young people. Its mission is to ensure that future-oriented skills and learning opportunities are accessible to all, and it believes collaboration is the best way to achieve that goal.

Role Overview

Kinia is looking for a motivated Growth, Events & Networking Lead to help expand its reach and impact. This person will guide delivery of the organisation’s social enterprise strategy and take ownership of commercial initiatives that support revenue growth. The role suits someone who is highly self-driven, commercially minded, and comfortable operating with autonomy.

Location and Contract

This is a permanent, full-time role based in a hybrid arrangement in Ireland, with Greater Dublin listed as the location.

Social Enterprise Growth

  • Shape and run Kinia’s B2B and B2C social enterprise strategy so it supports commercial revenue and stays aligned with the organisation’s mission.
  • Handle the full sales cycle, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals while working toward agreed targets.
  • Promote and sell Kinia’s B2B products, programmes, and services to schools, youth organisations, community groups, and similar bodies.
  • Market Kinia’s B2C offerings to wider community audiences.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the education and youth sectors through active networking with stakeholders and partners.
  • Identify and secure retail partnerships so Kinia’s products and offers are placed with suitable commercial partners.
  • Develop productive supplier relationships that support trading and social enterprise activity.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on sales performance and pipeline progress, keeping commercial activity transparent across the organisation.

E-commerce and Agency Coordination

  • Work with the Head of Marketing & Communications and external agency partners to support growth and improve Kinia’s e-commerce performance.
  • Coordinate product launches, merchandising, promotions, and campaigns tied to events so sales, events, and brand activity stay aligned.
  • Gather commercial feedback and customer insights from events and partnerships to help improve the online store experience and results.

External Events Leadership

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for external events, including planning, delivery, and post-event review.
  • Find, assess, and secure suitable event and trade opportunities throughout the year.
  • Manage event logistics from start to finish, including stand design and setup, materials, stock, travel, and on-site coordination.
  • Brief, guide, and support the team at each event with clear roles, responsibilities, and goals.
  • Set measurable commercial goals for every event, such as sales, leads, and new contacts, and ensure each event delivers strong return on investment, brand visibility, or sign-ups.
  • Produce a short post-event report covering outcomes, insights, and follow-up actions.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in sales, business development, or commercial growth positions.
  • Proven ability to create and close revenue opportunities.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach to work and problem-solving.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A results-focused mindset with an appetite for growth.
  • Confidence managing several work streams at once and meeting deadlines in a busy environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Ability to speak and write in Irish.
  • Background in the social enterprise, education, or STEM sectors.
  • Interest in STEM education and in supporting Kinia’s mission.

Benefits

  • Basic salary of €36,000, plus commission and bonus.
  • Employer pension contribution of 5%.
  • Hybrid-friendly workplace.
  • 23 days of annual leave, plus 2 additional company days.
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
  • Opportunities for advancement, learning, and professional development.

Additional Information

The role is subject to a 6-month probation period. The selection process is expected to include an initial phone screening, a preliminary interview, and a final interview. The application deadline is 3 July 2026.
