Role Overview
Argentum Capital Partners is looking to hire an Associate for its investment team, expected to join in the fourth quarter of 2026. This key position will immerse the Associate in all phases of the investment life cycle, starting from identifying prospective opportunities, conducting thorough due diligence, to assisting portfolio companies in various operational domains. Individuals excelling in this position may have avenues for advancement within the firm.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive market research targeted at potential investment sectors
- Identify and engage with prospective investment opportunities through outreach efforts
- Create detailed, bottom-up financial models and valuation assessments
- Oversee due diligence activities related to prospective investments
- Draft detailed investment memos and conduct supportive analytical work
- Provide functional support to portfolio companies, including areas such as finance and operations

Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a prestigious institution with proven academic success
- At least two years of professional experience in areas such as investment banking, consulting, venture capital, private equity, private credit, independent sponsorship, or startup operations
- Demonstrated interest in sourcing investments, including market research, cold outreach, and participation in relevant conferences
- Engagement with business services and technology-enabled sectors
- Proficiency in financial modeling and familiarity with investment due diligence and analysis processes
- Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and capable of thriving in an entrepreneurial setting with minimal supervision
- Effective written and oral communication skills
Additional Terms and Information

- Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $140,000 to $150,000 annually, supplemented by performance-based bonuses; final salary will be based on experience
