Overview
Unifrutti Group seeks an experienced leader to serve as the Group Head of Talent, responsible for shaping and executing our global talent strategy. This key leadership role, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE or Santiago, Chile, involves overseeing the entire talent lifecycle—attracting, developing, and preparing future leaders to meet our global business needs.
Scope and Impact
- Lead talent initiatives across multiple regions including Latin America (Chile, Peru), South Africa, Italy, the Philippines, Japan, and UAE headquarters.
- Collaborate regularly with senior executives and participate occasionally in Board-level discussions.
- Shape and guide global talent strategy with autonomy, influencing the entire employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement a comprehensive, group-wide hiring strategy covering employer branding through to offer acceptance. Establish scalable recruitment processes for diverse markets and forecast hiring needs in partnership with business leaders. Lead relationships with external search firms and personally manage recruitment for senior critical roles while mentoring the recruitment team. Monitor key recruitment metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
Talent Management & Development: Manage performance review systems, talent evaluations, and development planning. Encourage a culture of ongoing feedback and growth by providing managers with necessary tools. Identify high-potential employees and design tailored development pathways from early career stages to executive preparation. Plan and deliver learning initiatives that enhance capabilities across all organizational levels.
Succession Planning: Develop and maintain succession strategies for vital and leadership positions. Conduct regular talent reviews with leadership to assess readiness and close gaps. Work alongside CHRO and executive teams to mitigate leadership continuity risks. Design leadership development programs that proactively prepare future leaders.
Leadership and Strategic Advisory: Serve as a strategic consultant to CHRO and senior management on talent matters. Build and guide a high-performing talent team, introduce global best practices adapted to our context, and leverage data analytics and workforce trends to drive talent decisions.
What We Expect
- More than 10 years of progressive HR experience including senior roles focused on global talent acquisition, management, and succession planning.
- Proven success in creating or significantly reforming talent functions within diversified or multinational organizations.
- A digital-first approach with proficiency in HR information systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Experienced working across multiple countries and cultures with capability to manage complex stakeholder relations.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and confidently engage with senior leaders and Board members.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to initiate projects independently.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly advantageous.
- Project or change management certification or experience is beneficial.
