Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of critical financial data, including group management reporting, investor reporting, and bank/covenant compliance reporting.
- Enhance and scale finance processes and standards across an expanding international group, establishing coordination routines and accountability to maintain reliable reporting as the organization grows.
- Play an active role in structuring, integrating, and positioning the group corporate framework covering intercompany relationships, tax planning, and strategic financial initiatives.
- Lead and nurture accounting and controlling teams, focusing on building strong collaborative groups.
- Make decisive decisions regarding finance requests, escalations, and projects, empowered by a mandate supported fully by the CFO and supported by your team.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience in finance, including a minimum of three years managing teams.
- Demonstrable expertise working with international corporate structures and consolidated financial reporting.
- An operational excellence mindset aimed at developing robust processes, structures, and accountability frameworks beyond routine reporting.
- Strong analytical abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and investigating data anomalies.
- Leadership based on structure, clarity, and reliability.
- Proficient communication skills at decision-maker level for internal (CFO, country GMs) and external stakeholders (banks, auditors).
- Ability to make independent operational decisions within your area of responsibility.
- Fluency in German and business-level English proficiency.
