Role Overview
SHEGLAM is hiring a full-time Graphic Designer for its corporate office in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about beauty, has hands-on experience in e-commerce, and can create visually compelling work for a global audience. In this role, you will develop and deliver creative assets across several channels while keeping the brand’s identity, tone, and visual standards consistent. The position calls for originality, flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a wide range of visual materials, including digital banners, print collateral, paid advertising creatives, organic social graphics, landing pages, email and SMS visuals, and presentation decks.
- Work closely with teams across functions to interpret project needs and turn them into polished, brand-aligned design solutions.
- Maintain a consistent look and message across all deliverables while following brand standards carefully and accurately.
- Keep design files and asset libraries organized so that materials are easy to find, update, and version-control.
- Edit, resize, and prepare video content for advertisements and in-store/offline display use.
- Support on-location photo and video production by helping guide creative direction and protecting brand consistency.
- Monitor trends in beauty, fashion, graphic design, TikTok content, and marketing campaigns, then share insights that can inform creative planning.
- Evaluate website visuals, brand style guidance, and other creative outputs, then refine work based on input from teammates and stakeholders.
- Visit nearby physical beauty retailers to observe packaging trends, shelving presentation, and new product display ideas.
- Help shape product packaging concepts, including both 2D concepts and 3D visual mockups.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline, or an equivalent level of practical experience.
- A portfolio that demonstrates varied, imaginative work across multiple formats such as digital assets, packaging mockups, and posters.
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Workspace, and other relevant creative tools.
- Working experience with project tracking platforms such as Asana, Wrike, or Jira.
- Strong idea-generation skills and the ability to turn concepts into fresh, effective visual solutions.
- Good understanding of typography, layout, color use, and composition.
- Clear spoken and written communication skills, including the ability to present and explain design choices confidently.
- A collaborative, constructive attitude and the ability to work well with others.
- Comfort working under pressure, handling several projects at once, and meeting demanding deadlines.
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools such as After Effects or Premiere Pro, along with some familiarity with UX/UI principles, is an advantage.
- Experience using 3D rendering software for packaging visualization is also preferred.
