Graphic Designer - Menswear

About the Role

Ghanda Clothing, a prominent Australian-owned apparel brand based in South Geelong, VIC, is seeking a passionate Graphic Designer to join their dynamic team. This full-time position is located at their head office and is ideal for someone enthusiastic about graphic design in the menswear and kids apparel sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop placement graphics and prints tailored for Mens and Kids clothing, especially focusing on graphic tees and seasonal branding elements.
• Collaborate closely with Senior Designers and the fashion team to assist in product development tasks including artwork revisions, colourway adjustments, and garment concepts.
• Manage and organize artwork files and product details within internal systems, ensuring smooth workflow by uploading finished designs, maintaining style data, and tracking product progress through project management tools.
• Contribute innovative ideas and creative solutions while working both independently and collaboratively to advance projects from concept to final artwork.

Qualifications and Attributes

• A degree or higher qualification in Graphic Design or a related discipline is essential.
• Relevant experience in a similar design role is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Illustrator and Photoshop, with strong illustration capabilities.
• Experience with placement graphics or textile design will be highly regarded.
• Solid understanding of design fundamentals such as typography, composition, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple projects and maintain product data accurately.
• A keen interest in fashion, apparel graphics, and current design trends is important.
