Role Overview
The Grants Officer will contribute to a dynamic team focused on the sustainable management of Council's significant $2 billion asset portfolio and $70 million in grant funding for Shellharbour's community benefit.
This position involves engaging with diverse stakeholders to identify grant opportunities, prepare funding applications, oversee reporting requirements, and manage grant acquittals specifically aligned to various infrastructure projects within the Council.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in grants administration, particularly related to local government asset management or project delivery, with proven ability to manage the entire cycle of securing, reporting, and finalizing grants.
- Skilled in drafting and preparing comprehensive grant applications.
- Educational background in relevant fields such as Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Law, or Accounting, or equivalent professional experience.
