About the Role
Our client is seeking a Graduate Sustainability Consultant to join their London-based team remotely. This full-time, permanent position offers a starting salary of £35,000 plus additional benefits. As a consultant, you'll play a key role in guiding organizations through the net-zero transition by helping them measure, reduce, and report their environmental impacts. This role provides an excellent opportunity for graduates to build a meaningful career while contributing to impactful sustainability projects across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in client projects involving carbon footprint analysis, net-zero strategy development, ESG reporting, and sustainability data evaluation.
- Collect, validate, and analyze environmental data to generate insights and monitor progress on sustainability goals.
- Create clear and persuasive reports and presentations tailored for client communication.
- Research and stay current with evolving regulations, standards, and frameworks such as GHG Protocol, SECR, CSRD, and TCFD.
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand their sustainability challenges and contribute to designing practical solutions.
- Engage actively within a team-oriented environment where your input is valued from the outset.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a degree with at least a 2:1 classification in relevant fields such as environmental science, sustainability, engineering, geography, economics, business, or related disciplines. Candidates from other backgrounds with a strong commitment to sustainability are also encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical capabilities and proficiency with data management and spreadsheet tools.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics effectively both orally and in writing.
- Show curiosity, proactive learning, and adaptability in a rapidly evolving sector.
- Have a genuine passion for sustainability and commitment to advancing a low-carbon economy.
- Be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
