About the Role
Join a dynamic London-based team as a Graduate Sustainability Consultant, a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to embark on a career at the forefront of the net-zero movement. This full-time, permanent position offers a salary of £35,000 plus additional benefits and the chance to work on impactful projects that drive real environmental progress across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with client engagements focused on carbon footprint calculations, net-zero strategy development, ESG reporting, and analysis of sustainability data.
- Collect, verify, and interpret environmental data to generate insights and monitor client progress.
- Prepare clear and engaging reports and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Stay informed about developing regulations, standards, and best practices such as the GHG Protocol, SECR, CSRD, and TCFD frameworks.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their challenges and co-create solutions.
- Contribute actively within a collaborative team environment, valuing the input of all members from the outset.
Candidate Profile
- A university degree with a minimum 2:1 in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, geography, economics, business, or a related discipline. Candidates from other fields demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency handling data and spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts effectively.
- Curious mindset with the eagerness to rapidly acquire knowledge in a rapidly evolving sector.
- Passionate about sustainability and advancing the low-carbon economy.
- Legal authorization to work in the UK.
