Overview
We are searching for a recent graduate eager to start a career as a Project Manager within our expanding team in Cork. This entry-level opportunity is suited for individuals passionate about orchestrating business and technology projects through effective planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement. No previous experience is necessary, as comprehensive training and mentoring will be offered to nurture skills in project planning, Agile methodologies, risk mitigation, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the organization and execution of projects, ensuring adherence to established timelines and budgets.
- Support the creation of project plans, schedules, and allocation of resources.
- Track project milestones and progress systematically.
- Prepare documentation such as status updates, presentations, and meeting notes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project delivery.
- Identify, document, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies within projects.
- Contribute to monitoring budgets, costs, and efficient utilization of resources.
- Maintain compliance with governance standards and project documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Utilize project management software tools for task tracking and team collaboration.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at improving project delivery processes.
- Keep abreast of current project management practices and methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as Project Management, Business, Engineering, IT, or Management sciences.
- Recent graduates or professionals with up to one year of experience.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal capabilities.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with precision.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence in organization.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for learning contemporary project methodologies and tools.
Additional Preferred Knowledge
- Basic familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or PRINCE2.
- Experience or awareness of project management platforms such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, or ClickUp.
- Understanding of budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder management, risk management, and project governance.
- Leadership exposure via academic projects, internships, or volunteer activities is advantageous but not mandatory.
