Job description
About the role
Enterprise Mobility is a family-run global mobility company with a turnover of $39 billion, close to 90,000 employees, and operations across 95 countries. The business is led by CEO Chrissy Taylor, the third generation of the Taylor family, and is focused on building long-term success for its people, customers, and the organisation.
Why consider the Graduate Management Training Programme
This trainee position is designed to help you develop your leadership ability with the backing you need to progress. In as little as two years, you could move into a branch manager role within the retail side of the business. Many senior leaders, including the current CEO, started out in this same pathway.
From the outset, you will be given meaningful work and practical exposure across customer service, sales, marketing, finance, operations, and related business areas. The programme is built to give you broad experience and strong foundations for progression.
Rewards and development
Your contribution will be recognised through performance-related incentives and opportunities to move up within the company. Since the organisation strongly favours internal promotion, you can build a long-term career without needing to switch employers.
Training is a major focus of the programme. You will learn through a mix of classroom sessions, hands-on training, and mentoring, all aimed at helping you grow your skills and take on greater responsibility over time.
Culture and inclusion
The company aims to provide an environment where different perspectives are welcomed and valued. The role is intended to be shaped by the individual in it, while also contributing to a workplace that encourages diversity of thought and inclusion.
Responsibilities
From your first day, you will be trusted with genuine responsibility and introduced to multiple parts of the business. Your development will include the following areas:
- Customer service: provide a high standard of service by managing bookings, answering queries, and building strong relationships with a wide mix of customers.
- Sales and marketing: work with local business contacts, expand your professional network, and nurture long-term partnerships.
- Financial control and profitability: learn the basics of business finance, including managing costs and reviewing profit and loss information.
- Operations and logistics: gain experience in fleet management, strategic planning, and improving performance.
- Leadership and team development: support the growth of others by mentoring, training, and helping to lead a team as your responsibilities increase.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, although relevant professional experience may be accepted instead.
- You need a full manual driving licence issued in the Republic of Ireland, the UK, or the EU. Reasonable adjustments can be made for candidates who are unable to drive because of a disability.
- You must not have any drug- or alcohol-related offence recorded on your driving history within the past five years.
Additional information
- The role cannot be supported with an employment permit application under the current permit rules.
- Selection will be based only on how you perform against the organisation’s competencies; background details such as socio-economic status, university, subject of study, or degree result will not be used to judge you.
- Applicants can request accommodations to support participation in the recruitment process.
- Only apply for one location based on where you live or intend to work. Multiple applications across locations may slow down processing.
- This posting applies only to candidates for Castlebar.
