Work Schedule
- Sunday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Monday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Thursday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Role Summary
This position is focused on keeping vehicles at the highest possible standard of cleanliness, presentation, and safety before they are rented out to customers. The work includes interior and exterior detailing, sanitation, inspection, and preparation of a wide range of vehicles.
The company operates globally through well-known rental and mobility brands and offers transportation-related services across a broad network of locations.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors following standard procedures.
- Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
- Inspect fuel level, warning lights, windshields, and registration details; check for customer belongings and route valuables to Lost & Found.
- Review fluid levels, top up as needed, and assess tire pressure, tread, and overall condition.
- Examine vehicles for exterior damage and safety issues.
- Refuel and position vehicles for processing or rental use.
- Report warning lights, damage, and any safety concerns; remove vehicles from prep if required.
- Keep the work area tidy and raise any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
- Use cleaning equipment such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
- Help customers when necessary and may transport them to and from branches.
- Support the cleanliness and appearance of the branch, including desks, counters, phones, floors, bathrooms, trash areas, and parking lot.
- Carry out other related tasks assigned by management.
- Work on self-improvement through feedback, skills development, training, and goal setting.
- Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
Requirements
- Valid British Columbia Full Class 5 driver's license.
- No more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past 3 years.
- No drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past 5 years.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada without needing future sponsorship.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work the listed schedule: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, except for religious observance.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
