Role Overview
The graduate engineer will contribute to backend development for crypto financial products, with a strong focus on Go-based services, infrastructure support, and reliable system delivery. The work involves building scalable components for the lending platform and partnering closely with DevOps and SRE teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop clean, efficient, and modular backend code using Go.
- Design, build, and launch backend services for a range of crypto financial products.
- Create and maintain microservices that support the lending platform infrastructure.
- Write thorough test cases to verify that implementations meet design expectations.
- Work with teammates to keep DevOps and site reliability workflows running smoothly.
Requirements
- Open to fresh graduates or recent graduates with less than 2 years of full-time experience in computer science, statistics, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong coding ability in at least one programming language, with Golang as the preferred choice.
- Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience or familiarity with server-side tools and technologies such as MySQL, Redis, and Docker.
- Practical exposure to HTTP, web services, REST APIs, and databases including MySQL, NoSQL, or Redis.
- Basic understanding of Linux, networking fundamentals, and multithreaded programming.
- Interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, DeFi, and NFT-related technologies.
- Self-driven, disciplined, hardworking, and comfortable working in challenging environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative and perform well in uncertain or high-pressure situations.
- Good spoken and written English, plus strong interpersonal and presentation skills; Mandarin fluency is an advantage.
Preferred Profile
- Strong performance in programming contests such as ACM-ICPC, Google Code Jam, or similar competitions.
- Contributions to open-source software or community-submitted patches.
- Academic or project experience related to blockchain technology.
- Practical exposure to distributed systems through coursework or hands-on projects.
