Role Summary

The Graduate Engineer in the Facilities Department, based in Limerick, Ireland, will focus on supporting mechanical engineering and project management for new capital initiatives within the facility. This full-time position involves assisting with the planning, execution, and oversight of projects to upgrade or install mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning and management of capital projects related to facilities.
• Provide mechanical engineering assistance for facility improvements and new equipment installations.
• Contribute to mechanical design development and review processes within project teams.
• Evaluate technical submissions, maintain equipment logs, and track progress.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate across teams to pursue timely solutions.
• Analyze project-related data and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
• Help develop and monitor project timelines and budgets.
• Facilitate coordination between internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Identify risks including environmental, health, and safety concerns and assist in mitigation.
• Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and specifications.
• Assist with procurement processes for project materials and equipment.
• Prepare and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-driven with a proactive approach toward responsibilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Additional Information

• This position is based at Analog Devices’ facility in Limerick and requires full-time on-site presence.
• Approximately 10% travel is required.
