About the Role
Europlan Group is inviting applications for Graduate Design Engineers specializing in Civil, Structural, or Electrical fields to become part of their expanding engineering teams based in Clonskeagh, Dublin 4. This permanent, full-time position offers recent graduates an invaluable chance to launch their professional journey in a vibrant, project-centric setting. Successful candidates will collaborate with seasoned engineers on a variety of infrastructure and building assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers by contributing to the design and execution of civil, structural, and electrical projects.
- Prepare design-related calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Help develop both conceptual and detailed designs adhering to project standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with civil, electrical, mechanical disciplines, and project teams.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety policies, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in site surveys, inspections, and visits as necessary.
- Address technical inquiries and manage project-related documentation.
- Utilize engineering software tools under supervision and guidance.
- Engage proactively in ongoing training, mentorship, and career development activities.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Level 8 or higher bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for engineering design and project delivery processes.
- Effective problem-solving abilities coupled with analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Motivation to learn and evolve within a professional engineering environment.
- Experience through internships or placements preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, ETAP, Dialux, or equivalents is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of relevant Irish or UK engineering standards and regulations is desirable.
- Interest in pursuing Chartered Engineer (CEng) accreditation is a plus.
