About the Role and Team

The Data Science team at TikTok is a global, comprehensive data group instrumental in fueling the expansion and success of TikTok Shop. This team focuses on developing key metrics, enhancing products, improving algorithms, operating efficiently, building data infrastructure, and creating data-driven products. Their efforts facilitate well-informed decision-making and optimize TikTok Shop's performance.

We are seeking talented graduates to join us in 2026. Application Process

Candidates can apply to a maximum of two roles across TikTok and its affiliates worldwide. Evaluations are conducted on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged. Resume screening is followed by a technical online assessment for qualified candidates.

Key Duties

• Work collaboratively with business operations, product teams, algorithm developers, strategists, and engineers to create data solutions addressing critical business challenges and uncover growth opportunities.
• Perform detailed data analysis to generate actionable insights by identifying trends and patterns aligned with clear business objectives.
• Act as the primary data strategist for integrating new datasets into product capabilities and partner closely with engineering for data product development.
• Innovate and implement statistical models and A/B tests to analyze data; stay abreast of latest technological and industry trends.
• Apply algorithms to explore large datasets; conduct error analysis to enhance models; cleanse and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Incorporate artificial intelligence into daily workflows to develop scalable, automated AI-based data solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python, or at least one scripting language, with a good understanding of common statistical and analytical methods.
• Strong communication, teamwork skills, proactive attitude, and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Excellent logical reasoning, business interpretation skills, and quick learning capability.
• A keen eye for numbers and enthusiasm for data analysis.

Desirable Qualifications

• Previous internship experience in Data Science or Data Analysis roles.
