Job description
About the company
Bezos.ai runs a Fulfilment-as-a-Service platform for online sellers. By linking channels such as Amazon, eBay and Shopify, the company coordinates order routing across a worldwide network of warehouse and carrier partners, tracks shipments right through to delivery, and gives sellers a single view of their supply chain. It is a compact, fast-moving, AI-first team that expects substantial growth in 2026. Operations is at the centre of the business, offering hands-on exposure to how a real logistics platform works and giving new joiners meaningful ownership from day one.
Your mission
In this role, you will be the reliable force keeping the operations function moving. You will monitor orders, identify and resolve those that are delayed, missing or otherwise problematic, respond to seller and internal operational questions, run checks across systems, and help create AI-driven workflows and automations that reduce repetitive manual work. Over time, you will learn the full order lifecycle and become increasingly independent in solving issues.
What you will do
- Carry out daily checks across systems to keep order flow accurate, identify missing, stuck or inconsistent orders, and either fix them or escalate them when needed.
- Handle operational support requests, run internal checkers, and prepare and send invoices correctly and within the required timeframe.
- Use Claude to create practical skills and automations, beginning with the recruitment exercise and expanding into broader operational use cases.
- Continuously look for ways to improve the tools and processes you work with every day.
First 90 days
- Become dependable in running daily reconciliation across systems and clearing exceptions from your queue.
- Respond to operational tickets within SLA and operate the Bezos checkers on your own.
- Deliver your first functioning Claude skill or small automation that saves time for the team.
- Produce clean, timely output on a team project and begin handling open-ended tasks with less support.
Requirements
- You should be numerate and analytical, ideally with a degree or clearly equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a strongly numbers-focused economics, finance or quant-social-science background. You must be comfortable working with raw data and spreadsheets.
- You need to be AI-native and capable of building, not just conversing with AI. Daily use of Claude or similar tools is expected, and you must be able to create a simple working Claude skill. A portfolio of production agents is not required, but the recruitment exercise must show that you can build one. Prior experience building skills, agents or automations is a strong advantage.
- You must be dependable and easy to coach: complete work on time, keep output tidy, ask questions when something is unclear instead of guessing, and respond well to feedback.
- You should learn quickly, adapt to new tools and processes fast, and become productive without needing a long onboarding period.
- The role suits someone who enjoys startup environments, including ambiguity, fast pace and broad responsibility rather than a narrow function.
- You must communicate clearly in writing, be able to present simple findings, and flag issues early.
- Helpful experience includes internships or part-time work in consulting, banking, operations, analytics, e-commerce or startups; light Python/SQL or no-code tools such as Make, Zapier, Retool or Airtable; and any previous Claude skill, agent or automation you have built.
Benefits
- Join a genuinely AI-native team and build with Claude, Retool and Make every day, with real budget and room to automate your own work.
- Influence the shape of your role in a fast-growing company positioned at the cutting edge of e-commerce.
- Work in an environment that is entrepreneurial, fast-moving, outcome-driven and disciplined, while still being collaborative, team-focused and enjoyable.
- Gain strong opportunities for growth, learning and personal development, with the chance to make a meaningful impact.
- The team works remotely, with occasional in-person meetups a couple of times each month.
- You will receive 25 holidays plus 8 bank holidays.
- Mental health support is provided through Spill, along with a free Headspace subscription.
Additional information
The role is based in London, England, United Kingdom, but the team operates fully remotely with periodic in-person gatherings. No specific number of vacancies, salary, start date, or application deadline was provided.
