About the Role
Join the Business Transformation team at Aston Martin F1 Team as a Graduate Business Analyst. This role offers the unique opportunity to engage directly in the enhancement and streamlining of business processes and systems, working cross-functionally with departments such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and IT.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting, analyzing, and documenting requirements during the entire ERP system lifecycle.
- Administering and continuously improving ERP, PMO platforms, reporting tools, and other key business applications.
- Mapping current business processes and converting them into effective system workflows.
- Creating comprehensive business documentation, including process maps, functional specs, and user requirements.
- Facilitating data integration between ERP and interconnected systems like PLM, MES, WMS, HR, and reporting platforms.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders in Engineering, Operations, IT, and other business units to ensure project success.
- Assisting with ERP setups, tests, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and system optimization activities.
- Generating reports, dashboards, and performing data analysis to bolster business performance.
- Maintaining Bills of Materials (BoMs), product hierarchies, and relevant business data accuracy.
- Supporting data migration efforts, validating data, and upholding data integrity standards.
- Identifying and suggesting improvements for business processes and system efficiencies.
- Developing user manuals and training content to facilitate system adoption.
- Engaging in ongoing improvement initiatives while building business analysis expertise.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Possession of or expectation to obtain a degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing, or related fields.
- Interest in business systems, ERP solutions, and digital transformation; familiarity with Epicor ERP and PLM systems is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational aptitude with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- A proactive, eager approach to learning new technologies and business systems.
- Capability to handle multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
- Understanding of data accuracy importance and process compliance.
- Structured mindset aimed at solution development and continuous improvement.
- Effective interpersonal skills for fostering cross-team collaboration.
- Readiness to occasionally travel within the UK and internationally as necessary.
