Job description

Role overview

This position sits within Amazon Vendor Services (AVS), a team that partners closely with Amazon’s most important retail vendors to strengthen selection, convenience and overall business performance across the Amazon marketplace. The role is focused on supporting strategic brands, improving vendor engagement and satisfaction, and helping drive growth through better execution, stronger operations and sharper commercial decisions.

As a Graduate Brand Analyst, you will operate as a client-facing strategic account manager for assigned vendors. The job blends analytics, account management and vendor support, with ownership of day-to-day relationships and a strong focus on helping suppliers succeed on Amazon.

What you will do

  • Work with Amazon teams and vendor partners to improve key business metrics that support growth and a better customer experience.
  • Handle tactical vendor requests such as troubleshooting, reporting, supply chain queries and catalogue support, and escalate issues when required.
  • Manage your time effectively, work independently and use established tools and processes to keep work moving.
  • Build trusted relationships with vendors and serve as their main contact for questions, concerns, escalations and service requests.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve vendor issues quickly and to a high standard.
  • Train vendors on Amazon tools, policies and growth opportunities so they can operate more effectively on the platform.
  • Support new product selection, brand-building activities, promotional planning, operational improvements and reporting analysis.
  • Partner with stakeholders across AVS and wider Amazon functions such as Vendor Management, Category, In-Stock, Finance, Operations and Marketing.
  • Lead planning and performance discussions with strategic vendors and represent Amazon as the primary point of contact.

Success profile

  • Fast learner with the ability to absorb new concepts and skills quickly.
  • Strong analytical ability, relationship-building skills and personal organisation.
  • Comfortable identifying problems and turning them into practical solutions.
  • Clear communicator who can build strong and positive working relationships.
  • Able to deliver results in uncertain or changing situations while staying detail-oriented and thinking strategically.

Day-to-day focus areas

You will develop capability across several core areas:

  • Vendor management: expanding the product range, supporting traffic and conversion initiatives, planning promotions and resolving vendor-related issues.
  • In-stock management: supporting inventory planning, sales forecasting, purchase order tracking, inventory sell-through and PO automation with vendors.
  • Content management: improving product detail pages, creating and executing marketing and merchandising plans, and enhancing the onsite customer experience.

Onboarding and training

The AVS Academy onboarding program begins with an orientation week, where graduates meet senior leaders, gain practical exposure at a fulfilment centre, learn about Day 1 culture and explore Amazon’s Leadership Principles. The second week focuses on functional training, building technical capability for the Brand Analyst role around the AVS pillars of Business Advice, Selection, Operational Excellence, Conversion and Traffic. The programme is intended to help develop future leaders through a range of learning and development opportunities.

Eligibility and experience

To be considered, you must be in the final year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate tertiary qualification in a relevant field within the last 2 to 3 years. You must also be able to start the programme by July 2026 after completing your studies.

Preferred background includes 0 to 24 months of experience in consulting, finance, multi-stakeholder coordination or data analytics, ideally with Excel, SQL or Tableau. Experience in account management or client relationship management is also valuable.
