Role purpose
In this position, you will support clients with their accounting needs, help them stay compliant, and contribute to informed business decisions. At the same time, you will strengthen your technical knowledge, develop client-facing confidence, and learn how to communicate professionally and clearly.
Typical duties
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, GST returns and related compliance deliverables
- Use accounting systems and digital tools to help deliver efficient client service
- Work with senior colleagues on a variety of client assignments
- Broaden your understanding of different businesses, sectors and financial issues
- Gradually take more ownership of tasks as your capability grows
About you
This opportunity is suited to someone who is completing a degree, has recently finished one, or is ready to begin a professional accounting career. A positive mindset, curiosity and a willingness to learn matter most.
Candidate profile
- A completed degree, or final-year study, in accounting, commerce or business
- Interest in pursuing the CA ANZ or CPA route
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive approach and the habit of asking useful questions
- A team-oriented attitude and commitment to a positive culture
- Genuine motivation to help people and businesses succeed
