Role overview

We are hiring a Government Relations Manager to oversee employee government services, documentation, and regulatory coordination in Saudi Arabia. This position focuses on visa and residency processing, liaison with authorities, and ensuring company compliance with applicable labor, immigration, and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle the processing and renewal of Exit/Re-Entry visas, Iqamas, and other residency-related permits for employees.
  • Arrange business visas and invitation letters for visitors coming to KSA.
  • Draft and release official ID letters and other employee-related documents.
  • Work with government bodies to maintain compliance with local labor and immigration rules.
  • Keep records up to date and monitor the status of employee government service requests, including Baladya cards, residency permits, and similar items.
  • Share timely progress updates and provide support to employees during government service applications.
  • Help resolve issues, delays, and follow-ups connected to employee government services.
  • Track factory associates’ health-related Baladya requirements and coordinate appointment bookings.
  • Support P&O with onboarding and offboarding activities such as GOSI, contracts, Qwia, and related tasks.
  • Assist the Corporate Affairs Manager with administrative work when required.
  • Manage government paperwork and approvals tied to business operations, including license and certificate validity.
  • Watch for regulatory updates that may affect the company and brief management on relevant changes.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance across functions.

Required qualifications and competencies

  • Experience handling government services for employee visas and permits is preferred.
  • Ability to work proactively and stay effective in uncertain or changing situations.
  • Customer-oriented mindset and comfort interacting with senior management.
  • Strong coordination, organization, and communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage several requests at the same time.
  • Knowledge of Saudi labor and immigration rules is an advantage.
  • Comfort using MS Office and document management platforms.
  • Solid understanding of the Saudi regulatory environment, especially Customs and FDA-related processes.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Capability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage complex assignments.
  • Good command of English for clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
