Role overview
Centra is looking for a full-time Goods Inwards Attendant to join the team in Clara, County Offaly. The role focuses on receiving stock accurately, keeping the stockroom in order, handling returns, and ensuring that food safety and workplace safety standards are consistently followed.
What the role involves
- Receive incoming goods and verify them against the delivery paperwork.
- Maintain control over the back stores and goods-receiving area by regulating supplier access and movement.
- Forward invoices and delivery records to the appropriate person each day.
- Follow stocktake processes and support accurate stock control.
- Store returned items correctly and keep the required documentation up to date.
- Handle the breakdown, storage, and return of combis.
- Deal professionally with both customers and suppliers.
- Follow waste-disposal rules and store security procedures at all times.
- Represent the Centra brand values of being Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, and Community-Based.
Candidate profile
- HACCP knowledge is preferred.
- Good communication skills are important.
- You should be able to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, with an organised and flexible approach, is required.
- You need to work well on your own initiative and as part of a team in a busy environment.
- Previous experience in stock management is an advantage.
Working details
This is a full-time, on-site position based at The Square, Clara, Co. Offaly, Ireland. The Monday shift is scheduled from 07:00 to 16:00, although these times are approximate.
