Role Overview

The Global Vice President Talent & Organizational Development will lead the design and execution of talent, leadership, and organizational capability initiatives worldwide. You will oversee how we attract, develop, deploy, and retain talent, facilitate transformation, boost leadership effectiveness, and build an organization prepared for the future. This role blends strategic leadership, change management, and operational excellence within an international context. The role is remote within Europe but requires regular visits to the Osnabrück headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine Hellmann’s global Talent & Organization Development strategy aligned with business goals and growth targets.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive talent management framework covering the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Lead and enhance the global Performance Management system, optimizing processes and tools.
  • Introduce data-driven succession and workforce planning practices.
  • Drive global leadership excellence by defining leadership principles and development initiatives.
  • Design and implement global reskilling and upskilling programs tailored to different employee groups.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on topics related to organizational effectiveness, talent management, and future workforce considerations.
  • Lead and motivate an international team by fostering collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
  • Broad international experience in Talent Development, Leadership Development, Performance Management, and Organizational Development.
  • Proven success in steering major people transformation initiatives globally.
  • Deep knowledge of succession planning, workforce planning, and talent management throughout the employee journey.
  • Experience influencing senior leaders and managing change within complex matrix organizations.
  • A global mindset shaped by international career exposure and multicultural collaboration.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing global teams.
  • Strategic and data-informed decision-making combined with a commitment to execution and lasting outcomes.
  • Fluent English proficiency with readiness to travel internationally and to work in a hybrid setup with regular time in Osnabrück.
