Job description

Role overview

This position leads the international distributor business for a portfolio of clinical cancer diagnostics solutions. The scope covers the full commercial responsibility for markets served through third-party partners, including reagents, staining automation, and digital imaging technologies. The role is based in Germany and focuses on building profitable growth across a global partner network.

Key responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of revenue and contribution margin performance across all partner-led markets and the broader clinical cancer diagnostics portfolio.
  • Coordinate the international distributor network to improve sales, market share, and pricing outcomes.
  • Be accountable for revenue goals, margin delivery, and long-term profitability in the partner business.
  • Lead and grow a distributor-focused commercial organization with two dedicated teams: Reagents & Automation in Germany and Digital Imaging Solutions in Israel.
  • Guide post-merger integration by unifying two vertical sales teams under one commercial leadership structure with shared objectives and stronger collaboration.
  • Establish performance targets, review progress, and coach managers and team members to support development and results.
  • Create, sustain, and implement a three-year commercial plan for international distributor markets, including the related regulatory priorities.
  • Design and execute practical sales plans for specific regions and product groups to drive near-term revenue growth.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience selling clinical cancer diagnostics products.
  • Strong knowledge of complex international B2B sales environments and cross-cultural business dynamics.
  • Experience supporting partners in demanding tender-based markets.
  • Proven success in growing a sales P&L within distributor channels.
  • Ability to interpret market developments, regulatory conditions, business models, and competition, and turn that insight into a scalable growth plan.
  • Sound understanding of pricing approaches, margin management, and international go-to-market structures.
  • Demonstrated leadership of international teams across different cultures.
  • Highly target-driven with confidence in managing KPIs, forecasts, margins, and business cases.
  • Fluency in English and German is required; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for about 1 to 2 weeks each month.

Additional information

The role involves a post-merger setup and requires close alignment between Germany-based and Israel-based commercial teams. The position is onsite in Germany.
