Role Overview
The Global HR Business Director will hold a critical leadership role responsible for shaping and driving the organization's HR business partner strategy on a worldwide scale. You will collaborate directly with senior leaders, guide a team of HR Business Partners, and ensure workforce needs across diverse regions are effectively met.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute an HR business partner strategy aligned with overall company goals, positioning HR business partners as strategic advisors to business leaders.
- Lead and mentor HR Business Partner teams, promoting development, alignment with company values, and fostering a culture of high performance.
- Manage complex employee relations cases ensuring fairness, consistency, compliance with labor regulations across multiple regions, and minimization of organizational risk.
- Support global talent management efforts including workforce planning, recruitment, performance appraisal, succession management, and employee growth initiatives.
- Lead and contribute to change management programs, leveraging expertise in organizational development and HR strategies to facilitate smooth transformations.
- Champion diversity and inclusion programs to build an innovative, inclusive, and collaborative workforce environment.
- Utilize HR analytics for data-driven decisions, identifying trends and refining HR policies and practices.
- Foster a culture of trust and partnership establishing HR as a strategic and collaborative function across the company.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience in fast-paced, high-growth, global organizations.
- Proven background as a senior HR leader with emphasis on global HR Business Partner roles.
- Expert knowledge of international employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Successful track record of building and managing high-performing HR teams.
- Experience coaching and guiding peers to deliver effective HR solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities with exceptional communication skills.
- High commercial awareness and ability to operate collaboratively across multiple geographic and functional areas.
- In-depth operational HR knowledge.
- A passion for cultivating trust and sustainable relationships within organizations.
