Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is shared on behalf of a partner organization that handles the application review and subsequent hiring steps. The employer is seeking a Canada-based Global Head of Solutions to lead a high-impact, globally distributed solutions function.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines strategic thinking with commercial acumen and can turn deep technical capability into scalable, revenue-generating professional services. You will operate across regions and business functions to define solution direction, scale repeatable offerings, and support growth through efficient delivery models. The role also plays a key part in advancing AI-enabled enterprise solutions while bringing sales, delivery, and marketing teams onto a common strategy.
The ideal person will be a transformational leader who enjoys building organizations, improving operational performance, and creating measurable value at a global scale.
Key accountabilities
- Create and implement a worldwide solutions strategy centered on repeatable, scalable, and commercially strong professional services.
- Shape, package, and commercialize solution frameworks across major enterprise areas, including AI-driven transformation programs.
- Recruit, guide, and oversee a global network of practice leaders while setting a structure for regional execution and subject-matter depth.
- Align sales, delivery, marketing, and regional leadership to support effective go-to-market execution.
- Own a global solutions roadmap and prioritize work based on customer demand, business value, and market opportunity.
- Standardize offerings to raise delivery efficiency, lower implementation cost, and reduce time to close sales.
- Manage quality controls so offerings consistently solve enterprise problems and produce measurable client outcomes.
- Track portfolio results, profitability, adoption, and operating metrics, then use the insights to improve performance.
- Help open new markets and solution areas through innovation, market research, and strategic partnerships.
- Lead change-management efforts that encourage adoption of new offerings across international teams.
Requirements
The following background and capabilities are expected:
- An MBA or an equivalent advanced business credential.
- At least 12 years of experience in professional services, enterprise software, technology consulting, or a related field.
- A demonstrated history of creating, launching, and scaling repeatable services or solution offerings in global organizations.
- Experience leading solutions, product, practice, or services teams with cross-functional and multi-region accountability.
- Strong command of commercial strategy, revenue growth, margin improvement, and portfolio management.
- Evidence of successfully driving adoption of new offerings across distributed sales and delivery groups.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise transformation, organizational change, and stakeholder alignment.
- Working knowledge of at least one core area such as SDLC modernization, IT service management, enterprise AI adoption, or digital transformation.
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through collaboration rather than direct authority.
- Excellent leadership, communication, strategic planning, and organizational abilities.
- Experience in a high-growth, investor-backed, or rapidly scaling environment is strongly preferred.
- A strong analytical approach with the ability to balance innovation, execution, and business results.
Benefits and perks
- Competitive pay with an annual bonus tied to performance.
- Health and wellness coverage.
- Generous paid time off.
- Flexible working options that support balance.
- Remote-friendly, globally connected work culture.
- Access to training, professional development, and career progression opportunities.
- The chance to build and lead a global function with significant executive exposure.
- Direct involvement in AI, enterprise transformation, and technology innovation initiatives.
- Exposure to a multicultural, international team environment.
- An inclusive workplace that supports diversity, equity, and equal opportunity.
