Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate Global Head of IT Infrastructure based in Dubai to lead and manage GroupL FZE’s worldwide IT infrastructure operations. This role involves spearheading the design, deployment, and upkeep of network, server, cloud, and security systems to guarantee high availability, efficient performance, and scalability. The successful candidate will oversee IT operations teams, develop infrastructure strategies, and implement policies ensuring alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily IT system monitoring and resource optimization activities.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with various security protocols and regulatory standards across regions.
- Collaborate with senior management to align IT strategies with organizational objectives.
- Drive modernization initiatives to transform and enhance infrastructure capabilities.
Candidate Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in information technology domains including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and IT security.
- Proven leadership skills managing technical teams, budgets, vendor relations, and policy formulation.
- Experience in IT operations encompassing incident resolution, service delivery, and performance tuning.
- Track record in designing and executing IT infrastructure roadmaps that propel business growth.
- Academic credentials such as bachelor's or master's in Computer Science, IT, or related fields; certifications like ITIL, PMP, CCNP, AWS, or Azure are advantageous.
- Prior senior leadership experience managing global IT infrastructure, preferably in multinational or distributed environments.
- Strong analytical and communication skills enabling effective cross-functional collaboration and strategic influence.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, data privacy regulations, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions is a plus.
