About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a private equity-backed mid-market company of around 500 employees, located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, embarking on a transformative new phase. The company faces challenges from legacy platforms, customized systems, fragmented processes, and outdated technology decisions. Ownership is deeply invested in evolving the technology strategy and seeks a visionary leader to oversee Corporate IT, Enterprise Applications & Integrations, Information Security, Cloud Infrastructure, and Enterprise AI, reporting directly to the CTO. This role goes beyond maintenance—it is about modernizing, simplifying, strengthening, and building a next-generation technology function. Flexibility in title exists, open to Senior Director or Vice President levels based on candidate expertise.
Key Initiatives to Drive
- Upgrade enterprise applications and reduce accumulated technical debt.
- Shape a long-term enterprise systems strategy, including implementing the firm's first ERP platform.
- Continue migrating corporate systems to Microsoft Azure cloud.
- Review legacy business systems aligned with upcoming contract renewals.
- Enhance enterprise architecture and systems integration efforts.
- Fortify cybersecurity, identity management, governance, and operational resilience.
- Expand the practical application of AI and automation across business functions.
- Develop a more scalable, service-oriented technology organization for future growth.

Scope of Leadership
- Lead Enterprise IT, Applications & Integrations, Systems Strategy including ERP, Cloud Infrastructure, Security & Identity, AI & Automation.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners.
- Oversee IT budgeting and investment planning.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to enhance how technology supports business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology.
- Experience managing Enterprise IT, Applications, Cloud Infrastructure, and Information Security functions.
- Strong background in ERP selection, implementation, or equivalent enterprises systems projects preferred.
- Proven success in modernizing legacy environments and improving systems integration.
- Robust understanding of cybersecurity, identity, governance, and risk management.
- Skilled in leading cross-functional technology teams.
- Genuine interest in AI, automation, and emerging tech.
- Excellent executive communication, budgeting acumen, and vendor relationship management skills.
Location and Work Model
This position is onsite in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The employer values a technology leader highly engaged and visible within the company, favoring candidates already local or willing to relocate.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated base salary range is $175,000 to $215,000 annually with a discretionary performance bonus. No formal equity program currently exists. Benefits likely include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), paid time off, and other employee programs aligned with company policy. Compensation will be finalized considering experience, education, skills, and location.
