Role overview
SumUp is looking for a seasoned Global Benefits Specialist to join its Berlin office and support the Global Benefits & Mobility Lead within the wider Total Reward function. The position calls for strong communication, solid project delivery, stakeholder coordination, and a cooperative working style.
The role centers on reviewing existing benefits, spotting coverage gaps, and rolling out well-rounded benefits packages, including health, retirement, and wellness programs, across multiple countries in line with the company’s broader benefits philosophy.
What you'll be doing
- Running the day-to-day administration of benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement, disability, and leave arrangements.
- Explaining benefits to employees through orientations, open enrollment sessions, and clear communication materials.
- Handling employee questions and resolving issues related to benefits accurately and in a timely manner.
- Keeping benefits practices aligned with applicable regulations and compliance requirements in different jurisdictions.
- Coordinating with insurers, brokers, administrators, and other external partners to support benefits delivery.
- Reviewing utilization data, assessing program performance, and preparing reports for management.
- Tracking market developments, researching new benefits options, and suggesting improvements to the overall offering.
- Helping design and implement new benefits programs that fit employee needs and business goals.
