Role overview

DePuy Synthes is hiring a Germany Contracting Specialist for its Hamburg location. The role is suited to an experienced individual contributor who works with moderate oversight and is responsible for contract administration activities using contract management tools and systems.

What you will do

• Review information in the contract management platform to improve customer and contract handling efficiency.
• Own and coordinate contract administration workflows, while looking for ways to streamline and improve them.
• Support both pre-signature and post-signature activities, including due diligence, amendments, closure tasks, communication with contracting partners, and responses to queries.
• Work closely with the business unit, project teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met and compliance is maintained.
• Use research, analysis, product knowledge, commercial awareness, trends, and market insights to support offer development.
• Guide and support junior team members on methods, processes, and role responsibilities.
• Apply the company’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in daily collaboration and decision-making.

Compensation and benefits

The estimated base salary range for this role is €67,500 to €106,835 annually. In addition to base pay, the company may offer an annual bonus or sales commissions depending on pay grade, location, and performance. Benefits can include vacation time, at least 12 weeks of parental leave, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, well-being reimbursement, health and wellness support, recognition awards, service anniversary awards, and access to various insurance plans depending on plan terms and location. Business transition notice

The company has announced plans to separate its Orthopaedics business and create a standalone orthopaedics organization operating as DePuy Synthes. The transition is expected to conclude within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, consultations with works councils and employee representative bodies where required, regulatory approvals, and other standard conditions. If hired, employment is expected to transfer to DePuy Synthes after the transaction closes, and any resulting employment changes would be communicated at the appropriate time and subject to required consultation processes.
