Role Overview

We are offering an entry-level role for a project-focused, process-oriented professional to join our Professional Education team within the Surgery division. As a Professional Education Grant Support Specialist, you will strategically and compliantly oversee Education Grants, Fellowships, Donations, and Fee-for-Service payments across the ANZ region. This position ensures financial management supports organizational goals while enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary strategic liaison for external stakeholders such as customers and educational leaders, collaborating closely with Education Leads and Professional Education Managers to oversee processes from grant applications through payment invoicing, aligning all actions with organizational strategies.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation, accurate tracking, and reporting to uphold compliance standards, addressing and resolving any discrepancies within financial and budget reports.
  • Work with Professional Education Managers to promptly process payments and fulfill contract requirements, facilitating smooth execution of educational events.
  • Contribute actively to improving business strategies, workflows, and communication among stakeholders to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze financial and educational data to inform decisions and support ongoing improvements.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a degree and has at least one year of relevant experience, with healthcare industry knowledge and comprehension of compliance standards being advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with strong project management abilities and a focus on processes.
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and strong communication skills.
  • Proactive and consultative, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Works well independently and cooperatively within a team environment, maintaining a positive and solution-oriented mindset.
