German to English Interpreter - No Experience Required

Job Summary

We are looking for bilingual German speakers fluent in English for a remote, full-time interpreter role. This position includes a paid, intensive 3-week training program preparing you for live interpreting tasks. No prior interpretation experience is necessary. Following training, you will provide interpretation services for a major U.S. client on an ongoing basis.

Training Details

• Fully paid 3-week program
• Daily 2-hour live virtual training sessions, scheduled from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. California time
• Approximately 5 additional hours of homework and assignment tasks each day, compensated
• Weekly training commitment totals 35 hours, all compensated

Requirements

• Fluency in both German and English languages
• Strong communication skills and a professional, positive demeanor
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
• Availability for a full-time position, starting early mornings aligned with California time zone

• Application includes resume submission followed by language fluency tests in English and then German (if English test is passed)
• Tests require use of a desktop or laptop with camera on; mobile and other devices are disallowed
• Stable internet connectivity during tests is critical
• All instructions during tests must be followed precisely; only English language usage is permitted
• Candidates should use extensive vocabulary and formulate detailed sentences during testing

Additional Information and Restrictions

• Salary is $11 USD per hour
• Position is fully remote with 10 vacancies available
• Candidates from the US, Canada, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, China, Nigeria, Myanmar, and India are ineligible
