Job description
Role Overview
The General Worker will assist in daily production and operational processes, ensuring activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with GSK's established procedures and quality standards.
Primary Duties
- Carry out routine manual and operational activities under the guidance of supervisors or line leaders.
- Assist with production duties such as material handling, basic cleaning, and equipment operations following approved protocols.
- Adhere strictly to safety, quality, GMP, and GEK guidelines, reporting any unsafe conditions or issues immediately.
- Accurately complete and submit necessary documentation within set deadlines.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain an organized and efficient workplace.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess at least a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience with pharmaceutical solid packaging machinery and line management is required.
- Capable of understanding and following detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Physically capable of performing manual labor, including standing for prolonged periods and lifting items within permissible limits.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, quality, and team collaboration.
Technical and Professional Skills
- Knowledge of Data Integrity and compliance standards.
- Detail-oriented approach to assigned tasks.
- Digital proficiency related to production processes.
- Understanding of GxP regulations, lean management concepts, packaging operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to identify risks and contribute to problem-solving and quality assurance in production management.
