Job description
Role overview
We are hiring an experienced General Practitioner for a private healthcare clinic in Edenderry, County Offaly. This is a permanent full-time position within a supportive, non-HSE setting, offering strong earning potential and a flexible approach to scheduling.
Salary: EUR 110,000.
Start date: immediate.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality GP consultations for both acute and long-term conditions, including appointments carried out face to face and remotely.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of health concerns across all age groups, including minor procedures where clinically appropriate.
- Arrange investigations, review results, and direct patients to specialist care when needed.
- Keep clinical documentation accurate and compliant with GDPR and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with nursing colleagues and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to clinical governance activities.
Required qualifications
- A primary medical qualification plus MICGP, or an equivalent qualification such as MRCGP or FRACGP.
- Current, unrestricted registration with the Medical Council of Ireland in the GP Division.
- Successful completion of an accredited GP training programme.
- Valid medical indemnity cover.
- Current training in BLS, safeguarding, and infection control.
