Position Overview
We invite you to become a General Operative specializing in traffic management based in Bonnybridge FK4 2AQ, Scotland. This role involves contributing to road safety and traffic flow management as part of Scotland's leading traffic management company.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishing and maintaining traffic control systems for roadworks, events, and emergency situations.
- Directing traffic safely and effectively during operations.
- Cooperating with team members and clients to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Supporting and embodying a people-first culture while participating in organizational cultural initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible shift patterns including 12 days on/2 days off, 6 days on/1 day off, or part-time shifts such as Saturday-Tuesday or Thursday-Sunday.
- Possession of a full UK driving license held for at least 10 months, with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Residency within approximately 40 minutes driving distance from the depot.
- Desirable but not mandatory: Valid traffic management qualifications such as Lantra 12AB, 12D M1/M2, or Unit 2.
Shift Patterns
- 12 days on followed by 2 days off, including weekends off.
- 6 consecutive workdays followed by 1 day off.
- Part-time over four days with shifts either Saturday-Tuesday or Thursday-Sunday.
- Positions for high-speed operatives are available with night shifts, requiring the 12AB Lantra qualification.
