Company and Location
ArraTipp is currently offering employment opportunities for General Operatives at their Ingredients manufacturing plant situated on Station Road, Tipperary Town, Ireland.
Departments
Candidates will be placed in various departments such as Evaporator 1, Evaporator 2, Bagging, Ingredients Kitchen, Multiskill Yard, and Lactic Production.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide temporary replacement support for plant operators across various factory sections.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of entrance lobbies and control rooms within the factory premises.
- Clean and sanitize external areas, yards, and intake bays of the facility.
- Perform cleaning duties in the canteen, restrooms, and changing facilities.
- Assist with clearing blockages in driers and perform Clean-In-Place (CIP) operations as needed.
- Operate forklifts as part of daily tasks.
- Adhere to Cleaning Instruction Cards strictly and uphold a continuous 'Clean As You Go' policy.
- Manage waste segregation into three categories to support the company’s commitment to origin green standards.
- Undertake any reasonable tasks assigned by management, provided proper training and capability are in place.
Candidate Requirements
- Preferably 2 to 3 years of experience in a related role.
- Background in dairy ingredients manufacturing is advantageous.
- Proficiency in operating computer screens and managing manufacturing processes.
- Strong technical and mechanical skills, with experience handling mechanised or automated production systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and capability to sustain concentration over long periods monitoring production via control panels and plant observation.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for conducting root cause analysis of production issues.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Competence in basic computer applications.
- Knowledge of HACCP, food handling procedures, and chemical safety awareness.
- Highly motivated, able to work autonomously without supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Good skills in maintaining accurate documentation.
- Flexibility and self-initiative in daily work.
Working Hours
Selected individuals will be expected to operate on a rotating shift basis, including combinations of two-cycle, three-cycle, and four-cycle rotations during day hours.
