About the Role
Join Kilsaran, Ireland's foremost independent maker of concrete and bituminous building materials, as a General Operative based at our Paving Production Plant in Piercetown, Dunboyne, Co. Meath. The working schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, from 6 am to 2 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold exemplary Health & Safety practices by strictly following company policies and reporting hazards or incidents to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure that all production outputs align with stringent quality control standards.
- Operate automated production machinery efficiently and oversee various elements of the production workflow.
- Perform general cleaning duties and maintain orderly housekeeping throughout the plant.
- Operate forklift trucks and Grab trucks, with training provided to enable safe and effective usage.
- Correctly label all products and manage inventory by loading products into designated stock bays.
- Pick customer orders accurately and load them onto trucks or into picking locations.
- Avail opportunities for cross-training to cover roles such as operating Loading Shovels.
- Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience with production and automated equipment is advantageous.
- Having qualifications for mobile plant operation is preferred but not mandatory.
