About Four Seasons Hotel Macao & The Grand Suites

Established in 2008, the Four Seasons Hotel Macao is a distinguished destination for both business and leisure travelers seeking personalized, outstanding service. The hotel's excellence is reflected in numerous awards and satisfied customers. In October 2020, The Grand Suites—a tower comprised entirely of 289 suites—was launched, elevating bespoke luxury and personalized services. Including The Grand Suites, the hotel offers a total of 649 keys, making it the largest property under the Four Seasons brand. Situated in the heart of the Cotai Strip, the hotel combines tranquil elegance with access to premier entertainment, luxury shopping, and world-renowned dining experiences.

Position Summary

We seek a seasoned General Manager to helm The Grand Suites at Four Seasons Macau, a Forbes Five-Star property recognized for redefining luxury hospitality in the region. Reporting to the Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Macau and acting on the Planning Committee, this role entails leading operational teams to innovate, uphold superior standards, and provide exclusive service, particularly in coordination with the ownership group’s Casino Marketing and Customer Experience departments. The General Manager is accountable for the overall guest journey, ensuring unmatched service quality and fostering a culture of integrity, excellence, and safety throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and execute strategic initiatives aligned with hotel goals.
  • Maintain and strengthen relations with the property owner, balancing stakeholder interests and Four Seasons' standards through decisive leadership.
  • Lead and engage the operational teams hands-on to enhance both employee satisfaction and guest experiences, steering senior and mid-level managers to sustain Forbes, LQA/Qualtrics, and brand excellence.
  • Drive talent growth by overseeing comprehensive training and succession planning to ensure a robust leadership pipeline and seamless operational continuity.

Candidate Profile

  • Currently holds a General Manager position with at least 15 years of progressive leadership in luxury hospitality.
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin and Cantonese proficiency are essential.
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
  • Experienced in Forbes Five-Star and LQA standards, with proven success in delivering world-class luxury service.
  • Skilled at motivating and developing high-achieving, diverse teams within a culture of ethics and collaboration.
  • Adept at partnering with ownership to realize shared targets.
