About Wheely
Wheely is transforming luxury transportation in major cities throughout Europe, the United States, and the Middle East by combining advanced technology with expert five-star chauffeuring. Trusted by over 100,000 active customers and more than 1,200 corporate clients, Wheely is a profitable and rapidly scaling company, having raised $43 million with annual revenues exceeding $100 million. Following our successful launch in New York City, we're aggressively expanding across the US and EMEA regions.
Role Overview
We are preparing to launch in Los Angeles and are seeking a passionate General Manager to lead our entry into this key market. The successful candidate will be involved pre-launch in assembling the initial team, sourcing vehicles and chauffeurs, establishing operational processes, and preparing for the inaugural service. Post-launch, this role holds full accountability for the P&L and brand stewardship in Los Angeles, including overseeing service quality, business growth, client relations, partnerships, and team leadership. The General Manager will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with our US expansion team.
Los Angeles is a vital luxury and entertainment center, hosting major global studios, talent agencies, private aviation services, and prominent events like the upcoming Super Bowl in 2027 and the LA Olympics in 2028, offering a unique strategic opportunity for our expansion.

- Lead business development efforts to identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities and partnerships.
- Collaborate with the central product team to optimize passenger and driver experience.
- Manage regulatory compliance and licensing issues specific to California.
- Serve as the external company representative for press, partnerships, and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM fields or Economics from a reputable university.
- At least 7 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in high-growth technology companies, investment banking, strategy consulting, venture capital, or private equity.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing teams effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluent professional English proficiency.
- Must reside in Los Angeles.

- Competitive base salary starting at $210,000 annually.
- Eligibility for annual performance bonuses and equity participation in a fast-growing scale-up environment.
