General Manager Finance Partnering - Global Supply Chain

Opportunity Overview

The Global Supply Chain (GSC) manages a billion-dollar annual budget, coordinating the production and delivery of millions of tonnes of dairy products worldwide, servicing over 100 markets. This role focuses on integrating strategic financial leadership within global operations to solve complex challenges and create value for farmer shareholders and customers.

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GSC senior leadership to shape strategic direction and optimize value creation across key business areas.
• Influence enterprise-wide planning and investment decisions to balance financial performance with strategic goals.
• Use commercial insight and forward-looking analysis to identify opportunities and manage trade-offs for sustainable value.
• Promote a high-performance culture through disciplined planning, capital allocation, investment governance, and ongoing performance management.
• Oversee financial assessments of strategic transformation initiatives ensuring they deliver long-term commercial benefits.
• Maintain financial integrity, controls, and risk management across the GSC portfolio.
• Build strong partnerships across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and enterprise leaders to align priorities and strengthen organizational outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced senior finance leader with demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making and partner effectively at all levels in a complex organization.
• Strategic thinker with an enterprise-wide perspective to link performance with value creation and competitive advantage.
• Proven expertise in business partnering, stakeholder engagement, and influencing complex environments.
• Curious and growth-oriented mindset with commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
• Strong financial and commercial knowledge with experience in strategic planning, capital allocation, and performance management.
• Success in leading transformational change and driving improvements in business performance and operational efficiency.
• Analytical and strategic skills to distill complex information into actionable recommendations under time constraints.
• Effective people leader focused on building and developing high-performing teams and future leaders.
• Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, Engineering, or similar, plus Chartered Accountant or equivalent certification.
