General Help/Food Service Worker - Full Time

Job Overview

The Food Service Worker will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service within a dynamic cafeteria environment. Duties include meal preparation, customer assistance, food safety adherence, cash register operations, and maintaining a tidy dining area.

Primary Duties

• Prepare and serve food items following established recipes and portion guidelines.
• Deliver friendly and prompt service to customers.
• Handle cash register operations and accurately process sales transactions.
• Restock food, beverages, and necessary supplies during shifts.
• Ensure cleanliness of food service zones, dining spaces, and kitchen tools.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation, and occupational health standards.
• Support dishwashing, cleaning, and other assigned tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with team members for smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Possession of FoodSafe Level 1 Certification is advantageous.
• Experience using cash registers is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle busy workload.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Proficient verbal and written English communication skills to follow instructions.
• Previous food service experience in healthcare, hospitality, or fast-food settings is a plus.
• Physical capability to perform job duties.
