Role overview

Aramark Remote Workplace Services, working with Moose Cree group of companies, is looking to add a General Kitchen Helper for a remote lodge close to Timmins, Ontario. This role focuses on keeping the kitchen and dining support areas clean, organized, and ready for daily service. The position may also include other assigned support tasks depending on operational requirements.

Key duties

• Wash, sanitize, and maintain dishes, cookware, silverware, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
• Keep the dishwashing area, three-compartment sink, and surrounding workspaces clean and orderly.
• Make sure equipment remains in good condition and report any concerns to management.
• Carry out light custodial and maintenance-related tasks as needed.
• Provide courteous service and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, clients, coworkers, and other stakeholders.
• Follow Aramark’s food safety, sanitation, and general safety procedures.
• Protect company property and assets.

Work schedule and site details

The rotation for this role is 14 days working followed by 14 days off. Transportation is provided from Timmins or Cochrane, Ontario, and a travel allowance may be available for certain locations that are farther away.
