About the Role

SIXT is hiring a full-time General Estimator to support fleet maintenance activities. In this position, you will help keep estimating workflows accurate and efficient by checking vendor estimates, sharing feedback with rental branches, and assisting leadership with vendor-related recommendations. The role suits someone who works well in a busy setting, pays close attention to detail, and can handle several priorities at once.

Key Responsibilities

Review and validate vendor-submitted estimates for the Fleet Maintenance team.
Decide whether estimates and revised estimates should be approved or declined, with accuracy as the priority.
Communicate with rental locations to share feedback and coaching that helps speed up approvals.
Keep organized audit documentation for estimates received from outside vendors and repair facilities.
Track vendor performance and prepare reviews and recommendations for management.
Take on other tasks as needed to support changing business requirements.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should bring at least 5 years of repair estimating experience and familiarity with Mitchell Cloud Estimating, CCC, or comparable tools, along with knowledge of vehicle salvage.
A bachelor’s degree is preferred; an associate’s degree combined with relevant experience is also acceptable.
Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Strong computer skills, including comfortable use of Microsoft Office applications, are needed.
The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and solid judgment in decision-making.
Success in this role also requires adaptability, the ability to juggle multiple tasks, and a consistent focus on deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and flexibility to work varied schedules are required.
