General Duty Cleaner

Role overview

Commercial Cleaning Services is seeking a detail-oriented cleaner who takes pride in delivering strong results and wants to grow with a fast-expanding, innovative organization. The company provides professional cleaning services across schools, office buildings, retail locations, and other sites throughout Ontario, with a focus on high standards, environmentally conscious products, and excellent customer care.

Schedule and pay

This is a Monday-to-Friday position scheduled from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, with weekend work as required. The wage offered is $18.00 per hour.

What you will be doing

• Use industry-leading cleaning methods to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Run floor-care equipment such as auto-scrubbers, ride-on machines, carpet extractors, and floor burnishers for periodic maintenance.
• Carry out tasks such as stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing hard floors, and cleaning carpets.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed to complete cleaning and floor-care work.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting cleaning supplies, consumables, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service while responding to client-specific needs.
• Perform elevated cleaning tasks when ladders or scaffolding are required.

Physical demands

• Ability to lift up to 51 lbs.
• Comfort with standing and/or walking for the full shift.
